What is it?

Calling all runners and athletes! Are you ready to take your recovery to the next level? Join us for our weekly Recovery Run, a unique event designed to help you bounce back from your training sessions and prepare for all the training and races you have ahead. Led by Mike Cohen of Acupuncture Athlete, this 2-3 mile run is set up to help you recover from your week of training and enhance your overall performance by incorporating stretches, strength training, and corrective exercises into the workout.


What makes this run special?

  • 20-30 Minute Run: A perfect duration to promote active recovery without overexertion so you can focus on your self-care and recovery while still getting in a run.

  • Flexible Pace: Run, jog, or walk at your comfort level to be back for group exercises.

  • Post-Run Wellness Routine: Engage in guided stretches, strengthening exercises, and corrective exercises with fellow participants post-run.

Location and Format.

We meet at Balboa Park on 6th and Laurel (El Prado). Upon arrival, Mike Cohen will introduce the day's theme. You'll then embark on a 20-30 minute run, jog, or walk at your own pace. The goal is to return to our starting point for the group exercises. All self-care and group exercises will be done together at our starting location in Balboa Park, ensuring everyone benefits from the collective energy and expert instruction.
